Hot off the heels of this year’s very successful showing at the Hampstead Affordable Art Fair, the Free Painters and Sculptors will be showing at the Muse Gallery in heart of Portobello from the 2–7 October. 

FPS at the Muse will combine the atmospheric, ethereal and abstract to showcase the paintings, sculpture, graphics and photography of FPS members and special guest artists.

ABOUT THE FREE PAINTERS AND SCULPTORS

Established in 1952, FPS originally came to prominence by playing a significant part in the establishment of abstract art in the 1950's and 60's and was originally associated with the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts). 

FPS has always been a London based artist lead organisation that provides affordable exhibition opportunities for a talented membership of UK and internationally based Painters, Sculptors, Printmakers and Photographers. With 65 years of experience, FPS prides itself enabling artists build long-term networks that develop artistic sustainability, exposure and sales, whilst also encouraging artists to create work on their own terms… and therefore be free.
