A versatile artist exploring social and cultural issues in the world today. Working in the private sector for the medical field as a registered mental nurse (RMN), Terry’s influence has come from understanding aspects of the mind in relation to his art such as injecting chemicals into his works, and is also excited by the spontaneity that is expressed and realised conceptually, when the immediacy comes to fruition. ‘Alchemy is the art that knows how to make a substance that no formula can describe’, (Elkins). ‘Elkins quote and my style of painting involves
experimenting with various chemicals to create something beautiful and pleasing to the eye’.
